Watermarks

For the past 6 weeks I’ve been focused on dyeing fabric that I’ll use to depict water, at least abstractly; therefore, many of my screens have been various and sundry watermarks.  I used whatever I could find that I thought could convey liquid motion – including saran wrap and tin foil. Here are some of them:

Water Marks

Any other good ideas for making watermark screens?

Not sure if you tried it but bubble wrap in various sizes would be good.

I don’t know how it could work with screens, but ranks of noodles look wavy. Perhaps a resist sunprint?
