WPC WordPress Photo Challenge: Wanderlust
I remember that off-kilter, somewhat alarming sensation when I lived in California that I would feel if I was walking the beach. Coming from the East Coast where I had lived all of my then 35 years, I was always confused when I tried to figure out whether I was walking north or southerly. It was almost always the opposite of what I thought. Sometimes I’d be walking for quite a long distance, thinking I would come across a certain landmark before I realized I must be heading away from it and would have to backtrack a long way to reach it. Born and raised in the north of Boston burbs, I was habituated to firmly believe that the ocean was to my right and if I walked to the left I was headed north. This picture is so true to how I viewed the West Coast, as opposed to how I think of the East Coast.
Beautiful pictures 🙂

So typical of the differences that are so often a characteristic of the weather on each coast!

Lovely view, would be nice to just stay here by yourself and take it all in, and as long as you don’t get lost right?
