Yesterday I attended the opening of the Contempoary Art Quilt Exhibit at The Whistler House Museum in Lowell – a really strong exhibit, well worth the trip up there. There were two awards for Whistler’s Award this time!
Nancy Turbitt and her fabulous Whistler Award winning “Queen Bee!”
Sue Coluzzi, Little Island – Close up of Sue’s Little Island.
You can take in 2 or 3 fine exhibits in at the same time. I also made a run through the NEQM to check out the The U.S. Premiere of THREADS OF RESISTANCE!
Now through September 10, 2017 which was awesome!
Also, the Little Black Dress Annual Art Quilt Exhibit: August 5 to Sept 23, 2017
Reception: Sat, Aug 26, 2 to 4 PM
Always inspiring to see what skilled quilters are doing!

Hi Janice, What a fun day and great to see everyone and our “Winners!”. Just wondering if you sent your post to the Mass/RI Saqa for their newsletter? Good to see you! I enjoy your blog, always informative and inspiring! Lisa Panaccione
