Joined By Stitch At It Again!

I savor chunks of time, attention and interaction that takes place during the monthly meetings of the fiber art critique group that I belong to and that belongs to me – to each of us. The threads of thoughts, ideas and shared moments stay with me as I work and as I rest, informing my choices as I go along, enriching my journey even as I stand by myself at work. It couldn’t be a more caring, creative group of wonderful artists, each as different in our unique art paths as we are cut from the same substantial spirit cloth. We call ourselves Joined By Stitch and have been exhibiting as a group for a couple of years now.

Consider, if you will, joining with us for our upcoming exhibition, STITCHED, artist reception, Saturday, March 7th, 4 to 6 PM! Open Studios at The Loading Dock will commence at noon, so you can make a day of it and enjoy the whole experience

A Brief Peek

Hello to anyone still hanging in there with me. It’s been awhile since my last post and this will be brief. I’ve finally started work on a new piece with a March deadline for an exhibit you’ll be hearing more about.

It’s been through all of the regular stages of beginning with 1.) I know just what I want to do and how I want it to look. 2.) Oh gawd this is awful. to 3.) Whew! It finally came together just right! Well, I’m not quite finished but it’s almost there and another is in the beginning stages. Here’s a quick peek at a small detail.

Will be back soon. Thanks for listening!
